Who we are

studiopng.com is run by StudioPNG LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA ("StudioPNG", "we", "us"). For any privacy question or request, write to hello@studiopng.com.

What we collect

When you contact us. The contact form asks for your name, email, company (optional), what you need and your message. The form is delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include, such as your name, email, phone number and signature.

When you answer one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram. Meta lead forms can share with us your name, email, phone number and the answers you give in the form.

When you browse the site. Depending on your cookie choices and where you are (see Cookies):

  • Google Analytics: pages you view, how you arrived, device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and cookie identifiers.
  • Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags: that you viewed a page or a case study, that you sent the contact form or clicked an email link, which ad brought you, plus your IP address, browser details and cookie identifiers, which Meta and Google receive directly.

We never send your name, email, phone number or the content of your message to the Meta Pixel or to Google Analytics.

Server logs. Our host, Firebase Hosting (Google), processes your IP address, browser and the pages requested in order to deliver and protect the site.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your message and prepare proposals or quotes you ask for.
  • To provide our services if you become a client.
  • To understand which pages are useful and improve the site (analytics).
  • To measure our ads and show them to people who visited the site (advertising and retargeting).
  • To keep the site secure and meet legal obligations.

If the EU or UK GDPR or Brazil's LGPD applies to you, our legal bases are: your consent for analytics and advertising cookies; steps you request before a contract, for proposals; and our legitimate interest in answering inquiries and keeping the site secure.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the providers that help us run the site and our business:

  • Web3Forms, which delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
  • Google: Firebase Hosting (hosting), Google Workspace (email), Google Analytics and Google Ads.
  • Meta Platforms: the Meta Pixel and Facebook/Instagram lead forms.

We do not sell personal information for money. Under some US state laws, such as California's, letting advertising cookies collect data for ads shown on other sites can count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising". You can opt out at any time with or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Cookies and how to opt out

We group cookies and similar technologies into three categories:

  • Necessary (always on): remember your cookie choice and whether you have already seen the intro animation.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics.
  • Advertising: Meta Pixel and Google Ads.

If you visit from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Brazil, analytics and advertising load only after you accept them. Elsewhere they are on by default and you can turn them off at any time.

You can change your choice whenever you want with at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on, and manage ads in Meta's ad preferences and Google's My Ad Center.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising: the Meta Pixel and Google Ads stay off for that browser.

Browsers do not apply "Do Not Track" in a consistent way, so we do not respond to it separately. Use GPC or instead.

How long we keep it

  • Messages and inquiries: up to [24] months after our last contact, unless you become a client.
  • Client records: for as long as our agreement requires and as tax and accounting laws require afterwards.
  • Google Analytics data: up to [14] months, the retention period set in our account.
  • Advertising data: according to Meta's and Google's own policies.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS, access to messages and client data is limited to the people who need it, and our providers protect their systems with their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, give you a copy, correct it or delete it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Write to hello@studiopng.com. We will verify your request and reply within 30 days, or within the time your local law allows.

California and other US states. Depending on the law that applies, you may have the right to know, access, correct and delete your information, to opt out of its sale or sharing and of targeted advertising, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. You can use an authorized agent. Under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), this policy explains how we respond to Do Not Track and GPC (see above).

European Union and United Kingdom (GDPR). You also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it and to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Brazil (LGPD). You also have the right to confirm whether we process your data, to anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data, to portability, to information about who we share data with and about the consequences of refusing consent, and to complain to the ANPD.

Children

The site and our services are for businesses. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under 16 in the EU, the UK and Brazil. If you think a child sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.

International transfers

We are a US company. Our team and our providers may process data in the United States, Latin America and other countries. When we transfer personal information from the EU, the UK or Brazil, we rely on our providers' safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where they are certified.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and change the "last updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also point it out on the site.
